Is the role of the PA evolving in Cardiology?

21 Jun 2018 5:18 PM | Viet Le (Administrator)

See the latest survey report from the American College of Cardiology PA Committee.

There was an apparent decrease in PAs having both inpatient and outpatient duties (67%, down from 77% reported in 2012) and resultant increase in those reporting either inpatient ( 18 vs. 11.5 %) or outpatient (15% vs 11.5%) duties alone when compared to the 2012 survey.

Other interesting findings included a reported increase in autonomy, both in clinic and performance of procedures.
